Olympic bronze medallist Alysha Newman from Canada among the pole vault starters

The bronze medallist of the Olympic Games is coming to Karlsruhe! With 4.85 metres (personal best and national record), Canada's Alysha Newman secured bronze in the final of the Olympic Games in Paris.

She is one of the top favourites to win the INIT INDOOR MEETING Karlsruhe on 7 February. She already knows how to win in Karlsruhe: in 2019, she secured victory on the day with 4.71 metres (also a personal best and national record at the time).
